Transition Hose Cleaning: Inspecting and vacuuming out the flexible foil or semi-rigid metal hose that connects the back of your dryer to the wall. Note: If this hose is old plastic or vinyl, a good technician will recommend replacing it immediately with metal, as plastic is a severe fire risk. Terminal Cap Cleaning: Clearing the lint, bird guards, or louvers on the outside exterior vent cap where lint frequently jams.
